Recommendation: Connect the collecting tank to
the RMQ B unit with a pipe, such as DN 100. The
cable and the inlet hose can be run through this pipe.
•
Adjust the cable length and connect the cable to
the unit. Connect the two stripped wires to the
terminals of the unit. See fig. 10.
– The wires can be fitted randomly.

8.8 Level sensor installation (only RMQ A)
Procedure
1. Gently lower the sensor cable with sensor into
the collecting tank and lay the sensor on the
bottom of the tank. See fig. 11.
– Lay a minimum of 0.5 m of sensor cable on the
bottom of the tank.
2. For correct display of water level, measure the
maximum water level in the collecting tank.
– Measure from the bottom of the tank to the
overflow (for the purpose of calibration of the
level sensor). See section

Recommendation: Connect the collecting tank to
the RMQ A unit with a pipe, such as DN 100. The
sensor cable and the inlet hose can be run through
this pipe.
•
Avoid water ingress into the sensor cable. Keep
the tape on the cable during the installation.
•
Adjust the cable length and connect the cable to
the unit. Connect the two stripped wires to the
terminals of the unit. See fig. 12.
– The wires can be fitted randomly.
•
Remove the tape from the sensor cable.
The pressure sensor only functions when
air can freely enter and exit from the pipe
and hose.
