Anti-Block Shield: Prevents any food from blocking the pressure limit
valve.
Pressure Relief Device: When the pressure cooker reaches the
maximum allowable pressure and temperature, the inner cooking
container will move down until the lid separates from the sealant ring,
releasing air pressure.
Thermostat: The power will automatically shut off when the unit's
temperature reaches the preset value, or if the pressure cooker is
heating without any food inside.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If you have not added sufficient liquid and you notice that the floating
valve has not risen, but the timer is counting down, perform the
following steps:
•
Stop the pressure cooker by pressing the "Keep Warm/Cancel'
button
•
Turn the steam release knob to release pressure completely. Wait
until little to no steam comes out of the steam vent before removing
lid.
•
Carefully remove the lid and add approximately 1 cup of
water/stock or any liquid or at least enough liquid to meet the
minimum requirement. Stir food to disperse liquid.
•
Replace the lid and lock into position by turning counterclockwise.
•
Select your desired preset menu and adjust the cooking time and
pressure if necessary.
•
The cooking process will begin automatically within 5 seconds.
If steam is leaking from under the cover because the cover is not
properly closed, the sealant ring is not positioned properly or is
damaged, or the pressure cooker is over-filled, follow these steps:
•
Turn off and unplug the pressure cooker. Release any pressure using
the quick release method: turning the pressure release valve to
release steam.
•
Remove the sealant ring and check for tears or cracks.
