5.9. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
The humidifier
does not work,
even though it is
switched on
The humidifier
does not release
air or mist
The lack of water
indicator is on
The mist has a
strange smell
CAUSE
It has not been connected
to the power supply
The power supply cable is
damaged
The humidifier is faulty or
there is a malfunction
The humidifier is not
switched on
The humidifier is in
programming mode and
the set relative humidity
has been reached
There is no water in the
tank
The water level is low
The required water level
has not reached the
vaporization compartment
The water tank is not
properly positioned
The humidifier is not on a
flat surface
The percentage of relative
humidity in the room is
above 90%
The humidifier is new
The water is dirty or has
been left in the tank for a

SOLUTION
Connect the humidifier to the
mains
Stop using it immediately and
contact the Miniland technical
service staff
Switch the humidifier on
Increase the desired humidity or
change the operating mode
Fill the water tank and wait a
minute
Wait for a few minutes
Check that the water tank is
properly position on the base
Check the position of the
humidifier
Wait for the percentage of
relative humidity in the room to
decrease
Open the cover and leave it to
air in a cool, dry place for 12
hours
