* The operating range given refers to an open area, i.e. ideal conditions, without obstacles. If there are any obstacles between the receiver and the
transmitter it is necessary to foresee decrease of the operating range: for wood and plaster from 5 to 20%, brick from 20 to 40%, reinforced concrete
from 40 to 80%. Use of the radio systems near the metal obstacles is not recommended due to considerable reduction of the operating range. In
addition, overhead and underground high-voltage power lines as well as cell towers located near devices have a negative impact on the operating
range.
USER'S MANUAL
1. DESCRIPTION.
The bell can be used as a doorbell, as an internal calling
device or as a personal alarm. It does not require bell wiring.
The bell is powered directly from a 230 V outlet, while the but-
ton is battery-powered. Signals are transmitted and received
at a frequency of 433 Mhz. Range in an open area is approx.
100 m. The user can choose from 36 different sounds and
ringtones. The bell can also indicate ringing visually, which
is very useful e.g. for hearing-impaired people. It also has
volume control, with the option to mute the sound complete-
ly (only visual indication), useful e.g. for people with small
children. Three buttons can be programmed for one bell. It
is possible to set a different ringtone for each button (calling
location recognition).
2. ASSIGNING A REMOTE
AND SELECTING THE TONE.
The bell comes standard with a button pre-programmed for
the bell and set to the first ringtone. To change the ringtone
played by the bell when a given transmitter is pressed, first
select the desired ringtone using the ringtone change button
(2). Then, assign the given transmitter to the bell. To do this,
press the program button (1) (the bell will make a "ding-dong"
sound), then press the transmitter button, which will cause
the selected ringtone to play, confirming that the transmitter
has been entered into the bell's memory. To program another
button and set the desired tone for it, repeat the procedure.
Each button assigned to the bell can have a different ringtone
set, making it possible to identify the location of the call by
the ringtone.
3. REMOVING A REMOTE.
To remove a transmitter from the bell's memory, reset the de-
vice. To do this, unplug the bell from the outlet. Next, hold the
program button (1), and, while holding that button, plug the
bell back into the outlet. After being plugged back, the bell will
make a "ding-dong" sound; when this sound is heard, release
the program button. At this point, the bell's memory is erased
and it is necessary to re-program the buttons (transmitters).
4. VOLUME CONTROL.
Volume is adjusted by consecutively pressing button (3).
From maximum volume to mute.
5. REPLACEMENT OF BATTERIES IN THE BUTTON.
To replace the battery in the button, open its casing by gen-
tly lifting the latch on top of the button. The transmitter uses
a 12 V type A23 battery. Mind the correct polarity. The bell
comes standard with an installed battery (it is only necessary
to remove the safety pin which prevents the battery from
discharging).
NOTE! RISK OF EXPLOSION IF THE BATTERY IS
REPLACED BY THE WRONG TYPE OF BATTERY.
DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE
INSTRUCTIONS.
