The following table helps to identify and rectify further possible faults:

Possible cause
The internal battery is
not charged.
The headphones are
not switched on.
The volume is set to
minimum.
The playback device is
not switched on.
The playback device
has been muted.
The audio cable
incorrectly connected
in AUX-IN mode.
The stereo balance
control on the
playback device is
incorrectly adjusted.
Remedy
Charge the battery (see section
Charging the internal battery).
Press the

phones.
Set the desired volume using the
