IMPORTANT: READ BEFORE REMOVING FIXTURE FROM CARTON. RETAIN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
SAFETY: This fixture must be wired in accordance with the NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE and applicable local codes and ordinances.
A person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved must install this product. A qualified
licensed electrician should complete all work. Proper grounding is required for safety.
WARNING: Make certain power is OFF before installing or maintaining fixture.
RISK OF INJURY: Fixture may become damaged and/or unstable if not installed properly.
STEP 1: LOCATION
Select a location on a structurally secure wall or pole 10–25 feet
from the ground. Fixture should not be recessed.

(3/16" pilot holes) for ease of mounting.

STEP 3: INSTALLATION OF PHOTOELECTRIC CONTROL
1. Insert the photocontrol into the photocontrol receptacle/socket
on top of the fixture by aligning the large prong on the
photocontrol with the large opening in the photocontrol
receptacle/socket.
2. Push down on photocontrol and twist clockwise to lock.
(make sure photocontrol receptacle/socket does not rotate
prior to installing photocontrol).
PHOTOCONTROL MUST BE LOCKED IN!
STEP 4: TESTING THE LIGHT
1. To check operation during the daylight hours, cover the
photocontrol window with black electrical tape. (Never use
Aluminum foil to cover photocontrol or any other material that
conducts electricity.)
2. Turn on the electric power & the fixture should light within 2 min.
3. Remove the tape from the photocontrol and the fixture will
operate automatically-on at dusk, off at dawn.
NOTE: Leaving photocontrol covered with tape or other material
for several hours can cause damage to the photocontrol and fixture.
NOTE: All photocontrols are not alike. When power is first applied,
some photocontrols will turn the light on and turn off in two or three
minutes, this is normal and not a cause for concern. This does not
mean the photocontrol or fixture is defective. If the photocontrol
was defective, it would operate with the light on all the time, day
and night. Allow 3 to 5 minutes for the fixture to turn off or on
when testing.
NOTE: This fixture is intended to be conduit connected to a
properly installed and properly ground weatherproof junction box
(not provided). All conduit connectors, conduit and junction boxes
(not provided) should be UL listed for wet locations.
