Crevice tool, small nozzle and small brush

Connect the crevice tool (1), the small nozzle (2) or the small brush (3) directly to the
handgrip of the hose or to the tube. Use the same method as for the tube. (Fig. 10)
accessory holder

Snap the accessory holder onto the handgrip (Fig. 11).

Snap two accessories into the accessory holder:
-
Crevice tool and small nozzle (Fig. 12).
Note: Make sure the suction opening of the small nozzle points away from the holder.

Crevice tool and small nozzle (Fig. 13).
Note: Make sure the suction opening of the small brush points towards the holder.
Infrared remote control (specific types only)

Remove the battery compartment cover.

Place the batteries in the battery compartment (Fig. 14).
Make sure the - and + poles point in the right direction.

using the appliance

Pull the cord out of the appliance and put the mains plug in the wall socket.

Press the on/off button on top of the appliance with your foot to switch on the
appliance (Fig. 15).

adjusting suction power

During vacuuming, you can adjust the suction power.
-
Use maximum suction power to vacuum very dirty carpets and hard floors.
-
Use minimum suction power to vacuum curtains, table carpets, etc.
Infrared remote control (specific types only)
With the infrared remote control, you can set the suction power to one of 5 different suction
power settings. When you switch on the appliance, it always starts running at the highest suction
power setting.

To reduce the suction power by one setting, press the - button (Fig. 16).
-
To increase the suction power by one setting, press the + button (Fig. 17).
Suction power knob (specific types only)

During vacuum cleaning, you can adjust the suction power with the suction power knob on top
of the appliance (Fig. 18)
pausing during use

If you want to pause for a moment, insert the ridge on the nozzle into the parking slot to
park the tube in a convenient position (Fig. 19).

If the appliance is equipped with an infrared remote control (specific types only), press the
standby button to switch off the vacuum cleaner temporarily, for instance when you have to
move some furniture. (Fig. 20)

To continue vacuum cleaning, press the standby button again. The appliance then starts
operating at the previously selected suction power setting again.
