Check the measuring tool before each use. If the meas-

uring tool is visibly damaged or parts have become loose
inside the measuring tool, safe function can no longer be
ensured.
Always keep the measuring tool clean and dry to ensure op-
timum, safe operation.
Never immerse the measuring tool in water or other liquids.
Wipe off any dirt using a dry, soft cloth. Do not use any de-
tergents or solvents.

mains securely closed at all times. The main-

the displayed objects on the wall. Offset markings are an in-
dication of cavities, whereas markings in a straight line indic-
ate an object.

Change the batteries

ing lower two wheels stay in contact with wall; on un-
even surfaces, place thin piece of paper between wheels
and wall

Measuring tool switches off automatically. If possible,
remove the interfering radio waves, e.g. WLAN, UMTS,
