Remove the Battery Compartment door [17].

Install 6 x 1.5V "C" size batteries (not included) according to the polarity
diagram inside the battery compartment.

Close the Battery Compartment door [17].

Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium)
batteries.

If the unit is not to be used for an extended period of time, remove the
batteries and disconnect it from all power sources. Old or leaking batteries can
cause damage to the unit and may void the warranty.

Do not incinerate batteries in fire to dispose of them; batteries may explode or
leak. Follow all local regulations for the proper disposal of batteries.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When the output sound of this unit becomes distorted or the CD player operation
appears unstable, the batteries are weak and need to be changed. Replace all of
the exhausted batteries at the same time as soon as possible to avoid battery
leakage.
Press the FUNC button [9] to wake the unit from Standby and to put it in one of
the following function modes.
FM: FM or FM stereo radio mode.
AM: AM radio mode.
CD: CD player mode.
USB: USB player mode.
AUX: AUX input player mode.
