Setting the answer mode

Select whether you want to operate the answering machine
in the recording or announcement only mode.
On the corded phone
1. In idle state press the menu key
2. Select ANS. MACHINE and press
3. Select TAM SETTINGS and press
4. Select ANSWER MODE and press
5. Select ANS & REC. or ANSWER ONLY and press
On the cordless handset
1. In idle state press the menu key
2. Select Answer machine and press
3. Select Answer settings and press
4. Select Answer mode and press
5. Select Answer/Record or Answer only and press

Setting the TAM language

Select the language for the default outgoing messages. In
delivery state, German is set. If the desired language is not
available (German, English, French), select any language and
record your own personal outgoing message (see below).
On the corded phone
1. In idle state press the menu key
2. Select ANS. MACHINE and press
3. Select TAM SETTINGS and press
4. Select TAM LANGUAGE and press
5. Select a language for the default outgoing messages and
press
