2. RANGE OF USE

This pump is intended for pumping clear water in domestic use, such as pumping from containers,
wells and underground.
Caution!
The max. permissible fluid temperature is 35a .
Pumping Iiquids mixed with abrasives (e.g. sand) will reduces the service life of the pump.

3. SAFETY

3.1 Specified Conditions of use

This pump must not be used to supply drinking water. Salt water, muddy water, corrosive, easi-
ly combustible or explosive substances(e.g.gasoline, petroleum, nitro thinner), fats, oils and food
must not be pumped.
This equipment is not suitable for commercial or Industrial use.
3.2GeneraI safety instructions
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sen-
sory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given su-
pervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
However, all local regulations on basis of safe operation of submersible pumps are allowed.
The following listed risks do principally exist when operating submersible pumps and can not be
fully eliminated - even if by using safety devices.
Hazard generated by ambient conditions!
- Do not use the pump in hazardous locations or near inflammable liquids and gases!
Danger! Risk of electric shock!
- Do not touch the plug with wet hands! To unplug from the plug, not the power cable. 0 The ground
lead or power cable must be located safety without wet.Protecton must be performed by an over
current protection under 30 mA.
- Do not buckle, squeeze, drag or drive over power cable and extension cables; protect them from
any sharp edges.
- Fix the cables and keep no remove.
- Risk caused by the leaked lubricant.
- Power-off before any repair service.
Danger by faults!
- Before each use check first, especially the power cable, plug and float switch for possible damage
o avoid of fatal electric shoch!
- A damaged pump must be workmanlike repaired professionally before it can be used again.
Do not repair the pump yourself! Only trained professionals are perrriitted to service or repair pumps.
- If the appliance or the supply cord is damaged, it must be repaired by manufacturer its service
agent or qualified person.
