Maintenance and cleaning

Before cleaning, adjusting, repairing and maintenance
works, the power cord must be unplugged.
Replace worn out or damaged parts immediately, so
that the power tool is always in a safe operating
condition.
Cleaning:
The brushless cordless impact drill must be carefully
cleaned after each use.
Do not use aggressive cleaning products. These
products may damage
compromising the safe operation of the brushless
cordless impact drill.
Maintenance:
Only maintenance works described in this instruction
manual may be carried out; all other works must be
performed by an official distributor.
Keep all nuts and screws well tightened in order to
ensure a safe operation.
If any components or safety devices are removed for
maintenance works, they must be repositioned
immediately.
Use only VITO-approved tools for this power tool or
technically identical parts. Not doing so may result in
personal injuries or damages to the equipment. In case
of doubt, you should contact an official dealer.

Technical assistance

This power tool must be repaired only by the brand
official technical service or by qualified technicians and
only with original replacement parts.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Battery assembly

1. Insert the battery into the drill fitting and press the
battery until you hear the "click" of the lock/unlock
button. At this point the battery is completely fixed;
2. To remove, press the lock/unlock button and pull out
the battery.
Use 20V VITO batteries.

Charging the battery

1. Insert the battery into the charger as if it were placed
in the power tool;
2. Plug the charger plug into the socket and let it charge.
Sometimes at the end of charging, both the battery and
the charger may be hot, which does not mean they are
malfunctioning.
Let the battery cool before placing it in the machine.

Drills and accessories assembly and replacement

The brushless cordless impact drill can be used for
drilling and tightening/loosening operations. For this
purpose, drills and tightening accessories are used.
Never assemble or change drill bits and accessories
while the drill is running. Always shut off the drill before
performing these operations.
1. Set the forward/reverse switch to its middle position
to lock the "ON/OFF" switch;
2. Hold the impact drill by the handle with one hand and
unscrew the quick-release chuck clockwise until the
opening allows for drill or accessory insert;
3. Insert the drill bit or attachment into the quick-
release chuck;
4. Hold the drill by the handle with one hand and tighten
the quick-release chuck counter-clockwise until the drill
or attachment is properly fixed;
When using screwdriver bits always use a magnetic bit
holder.
