R-070170 and R-070180 are two practical developing chambers specifically designed
for clinical or laboratory applications. R-070180 features a very convenient X-ray viewer
which also provides light inside the developing chamber. To achieve optimum performance
levels, proceed as follows:
LOCATION
1. Remove packagmg materials with care. Inside the chamber you will the following
components:
1 collet holder bar (only R-070180).
2 plate holder collets.
2 cup holder strips.
3 cups (red, blue and yellow).
2. Avoid placing the unit in the clinic or laboratory under direct sunlight. We recommend
that the machine be placed m a room with subdued lighting.
3. Place the unit on a fiat surface, far away from heat and vibration sources. Select a
comfortable working height to handle plates inside the chamber.
4. In the case of the R-070180 unit, place it close to a 220 V, 50/60 Hz ground power
socket. Plug the X-ray viewer in to the mains.
HOW TO USE THE DEVELOPER
1. Fill the three cups with developing, fixing and washing fluids. Place the cups on the cup
holder inside the chamber.
2. Insert the X-ray you wish to develop inside the chamber and proceed accordingly. The
transparent plastic lid allows to you to see inside the chamber. In the case of the R-
070180 unit, it is possible to use the X-ray viewer to light up the interior of the chamber.
3. Slip you hands into the wool sleeves located on the front of the machine to manipulate
the plates inside. X-ray pincers (supplied with the unit) can also be used during the
developing process.
4. Remove the X-rays from inside the chamber. In the case of the R-070180, an X-ray
viewer can be used.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANSING
Thoroughly clean the unit as detailed hereunder to achieve optimum X-ray viewer
performance levels:
