Always turn off the appliance first before unplugging the power cord from the

If the air conditioner fails or otherwise malfunctions, have it repaired by the
manufacturer or a qualified professional.
Do not install or operate the air conditioner in a bathroom or other wet rooms.
This appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years of age and
individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of ex‑
perience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards
involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children
without supervision.
Keep in mind that children must never play with this appliance. Do not pull the
plug to switch off the appliance.
Do not place any containers with liquids (e.g. mugs) on top of the air conditioner;
otherwise the interior of the appliance could be accidentally flooded.
Do not use bug sprays or other flammable substances near the air conditioner.
Do not wipe or clean the air conditioner with chemical solvents such as gasoline,
alcohol, etc. Before cleaning the air conditioner, make sure that the power supply
is disconnected. Wipe with a lightly moistened cloth. If the appliance is heavily
soiled, wipe it with a neutral cleaning agent.
Do not use any agents other than those recommended by the manufacturer
to speed up the defrosting process or for cleaning.
Keep the appliance in a room without any continuously working devices that
may be potential ignition sources (e.g. open fire, a working gas appliance or a
working electric heater).
Do not pierce the refrigerant circuits. The refrigerant is flammable and odourless.
The appliance should be installed, operated and kept in a room with an area
of more than 13m

Keep the appliance in a well‑ventilated room.
Do not place any objects on the air supply and return grilles. Keep the grilles
unobstructed.
When a drain hose is attached, make sure it is properly connected and not
deformed or bent.
To keep your children safe, do not leave any parts of the packaging readily
accessible (e.g. plastic bags, cardboard boxes, polystyrene inserts, etc.).
