INSTALLING THE GAS TRAIN
The gas train leaves the factory ready for installation to
the burner's left.
If it is to be installed on the right, fit the valve turned by 90°
with respect to the gas-out flange (9).
Connection between the gas supply line and the train
must be made using the gas-in flange (7) supplied, and
fastening screws (8).
It is best to tighten screws in a criss-cross pattern.
Do not, under any circumstances, install the valve with the
coil (10) facing down. Once installation is complete,
you must check for leaks and make sure the gas train
is working properly.
PRESSURE LOSS
The gas train pressure loss p is provided from the dia-
gram; the scales of the volumetric output
respectively for:
a = air,
n = natural gas (G20),
p = propane (G30),
c = city gas (G140), only for applications not covered by
the Gas Appliances Regulation (2016/426/EU).
The values, provided from the diagram, can be different
according to the pressure regulator calibration. The mini-
mum necessary pressure in the network can be obtained
by adding the pressure of the diagram to the burner pres-
sure losses (see burner manual) and the back pressure of
the combustion chamber (see heat generator manual).
GAS PRESSURE REGULATOR CALIBRATION
(fig. 2)
Undo screw (2) and connect a pressure gauge.
Calibrate the pressure regulator by turning screw (5) with
a 2 mm hexagonal wrench.
To increase the output pressure, turn the screw clock-
wise;
to reduce it, turn the screw in a counterclockwise direc-
tion.
Tighten up screw (2) again.
Once adjustment is complete, you must check for
leaks and proper operation.
VALVE REGULATION,
The slow ignition output (valve opening phase) must be
adjusted by turning screw (3), using a 2 mm hexagonal.
To increase the output, turn the screw in a counter-
clockwise direction;
to reduce it, turn the screw in a clockwise direction.
You can adjust the starting gas quantity up to 80% than
the main output.
Wait at least forty-five seconds before starting up again.
The main output is reached progressively, starting from the ignition output.
Turn screw (4) to adjust.
To increase the output,turn the screw in a counterclockwise direction;
to reduce it, turn the screw in a clockwise direction.
Once adjustment is complete, you must check for leaks and proper operation.
