Safety instructions
Please read the operating instructions before using the unit for
the first time.
Only use the unit in enclosed spaces.
Only for NiMH batteries.
Never attempt to recharge dry batteries.
Ensure that the battery's capacity matches the charging current
of the unit.
Keep small children away from the unit while charging.
Children should only operate the charger unit if supervised by an
adult.
Allow heated batteries to cool prior to charging.
If a battery becomes very hot (>40°C, battery poss. defective),
disconnect the power plug.
Never use the charger as a direct current supplier for electrical
appliances.

Charging process
Insert the power plug of the charger into a standard domestic
socket outlet. Connect the plug for charging the racing pack (6
cells) to the charger plug,
not apply power.
Insert the plug for charging the transmitter battery/ies (4 cells)
into the charging socket of the transmitter.
The charging of both battery types can occur either individually or
simultaneously.
During the charging process, the charger unit will heat up slightly
• When charging the transmitter batteries (4 cells), the red
LED2 will light up.
• Once these are fully charged (batteries are getting warm),
remove the charger plug from the transmitter.
• When charging the racing pack (6 cells), the red LED1 will
light up.

Polarity of charging jack
• Once this is fully charged, the charger will change to pulsating
trickle charging, and the LED1 will turn green.
• If the red LED flashes in quick succession, this indicates a
defect. In this case, disconnect the power plug and remove
the battery pack from the charger unit.

battery as DC cable permit Never place charger above battery
being charged, gases from battery will corrode and damage
charger.
• These chargers are not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the charger.
