Leave the mat alone for approx. 24 hours
without infl ating it so that the adhesive
can dry completely.
Leaky valve?
If air is leaking from the valve, determine
whether it is leaking directly at the edge
of the valve head or from inside the valve.
In both cases, the solution can be very
simple.
Air is leaking at the edge of the valve
head
The entire valve core is only screwed in.
It is therefore possible that it has come
loose.
1. Remove the protective cap (3).
2. Place the valve key (included in the
repair kit) on the valve and turn it
clockwise. If it turns easily, the prob-
lem was that the valve had loosened.
If air continues to escape, it is possible
that the valve is not seated correctly in the
recess.
1. Release a little air (see the "Releasing
Air and Storing the Mat" chapter).
2. Loosen the valve (2) by turning the
valve key anticlockwise (Picture E1).
Keep turning until the valve can be
moved inside the recess.
3. Then place the valve as centrally as
possible and tighten it clockwise with
the valve key to secure it.
4. Fully infl ate the mat and tighten the
valve once again.
Air is leaking from inside the valve
1. Remove the protective cap (3).
2. Press the valve pin several times and
let go again. Is the valve leaky? Then

perhaps it was just the valve pin that
become off set.
3. If air continues to escape, unscrew the
valve out of the mat using the valve
key (Picture E1+E2).
4. Check whether the seal is correctly
seated on the valve and adjust if
necessary.
5. Check whether any foreign objects
(e.g. threads) have become caught
in the valve and remove them if
necessary.
6. Then place the valve (2) as centrally
as possible and tighten it clockwise
with the valve key to secure it.
7. Fully infl ate the mat and tighten the
valve once again.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging
material in an environmentally
friendly manner so that it can be
recycled.
If you no longer wish to use the
mat, pass it on to someone who
will appreciate it.
If it can no longer be used, please
dispose of it in an environmentally
friendly manner.
The pump is governed by the
European Directive 2012/19/EU
on waste electrical and electronic
equipment (WEEE). Do not
dispose of the pump as normal
domestic waste, but rather in an
environmentally friendly manner
via an offi cially approved waste
disposal company.
