DANGER
Danger of electric current!
Do not use the appliance if the
mains cable or plug is damaged.
Do not open the housing of
the appliance. Danger from elec-
tric current if live connections
are touched and/or the electrical
and mechanical configuration is
changed.
Never immerse the appliance or
the plug in water or other liquids.
When filling the jug, do not allow
any liquid to run over the motor
unit. The liquid could penetrate into
the housing and lead to danger.
Do not clean the appliance un-
der running water.
Do not touch the connecting
cable with wet hands when dis-
connecting the appliance from the
mains supply.
Pull the plug out of the mains
socket,
if you are not using the appliance,
–
when changing the attachments,
–
if a malfunction occurs during op-
–
eration,
before you clean the appliance.

When using for increased pe-
riods of time, allow the appliance
to cool down occasionally to avoid
overheating.
After switching off, wait until the
appliance has completely stopped
before opening the jug or changing
the attachment.
Risk of suffocation!
Never play with packaging ma-
terial. Risk of suffocation.
WARNING
Danger from moving parts!
Never put your fingers or objects
into the filling shaft.
Danger from sharp blades!
Remove the protective container
of the blades carefully.
Do not touch the blades. Always
hold the blade by the plastic shaft.
Never put your figures or objects
into the jug when the appliance is
in operation.
Before using each time, check
the safety switch, see section Safe-
ty switch (page 14).
Always push food in with the
pusher and never with your fingers
Remove the lid and the mixing
jug only after the appliance has
stopped completely.
Only operate the appliance
when the lid is closed and locked.
Remove the blade before emp-
tying the jug.
Danger from damage to the jug
Do not operate the appliance
when the jug is empty.
Remove any stones from the
fruit before extracting the juice.
Frozen food must be defrosted
before chopping otherwise the jug
could be damaged.
Do not fill the jug with hot foods.
The jug is not suitable for ovens
or microwave ovens.
