Safety switches
The appliance is equipped with a safety
switch and can only be operated if the cor-
responding attachment has been correctly
fitted and locked onto the motor unit.
WARNING
Before using each time, check the
function of the safety switch. Switch on the
appliance with attached jug for this pur-
pose. If the motor turns, the safety switch
is defective and the appliance may not be
used.

Operation and use
Switching the appliance on/off
The appliance is turned on and off via the
rotary knob (5) as described in the section
Rotary switch (page 14).
Using the mixer
General instructions
Make sure that the blender jug (18) is
seated properly, otherwise the appliance can-
not be operated (safety switch).
Pour liquids into the mixer first and then
the solids.
Do not put solid parts (metal, wood,
bones) into the blender jug.
Cut through larger parts so that they can
be more easily seized by the blade.
Pay attention to the maximum filling quan-
tity of 1500 ml in the blender jug
Mounting the blade unit onto the jug

First put the sealing ring onto the blade
unit (17) without twisting. It must fit smoothly
all round.
2.
Place the blade unit from beneath into the
mixing jug (18).
3.
Turn underneath the blade unit (17) clock-
wise onto the blender jug (18).
