WARNING:
When servicing, use only identical replacement parts.
Use of any other parts could create a hazard or cause
product damage.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of
commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use
clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
WARNING:
Always clean and thoroughly dry out all parts of the
misting bottle, mister top, and pick up tube when not in
use to prevent the possible formation of bacteria or mold.
Spraying mist that contains bacterial or mold can result
in serious personal injury or illness.
WARNING:
This product is not diswasher safe. Clean with warm
soapy water only. Do not at any time let brake fluids,
gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetrating oils,
etc., come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can
damage, weaken or destroy plastic which could result in
serious personal injury.
CLEANING NOZZLE
See Figures 3.
Irregular mist patterns or leakage may be the result of a
clogged or dirty nozzle. To clean nozzles:
 Turn the mister off.
 Remove the nozzle from the mister top.
 Soak nozzle in Arctic Cove nozzle cleaner (not included)
to loosen foreign materials clogging or restricting the
nozzle.

MAINTENANCE

 Using a garden hose, flush debris out of nozzle by back
flushing (running the water through the nozzle backwards
or from the outside to the inside).
 Reconnect the nozzle to the mister top.
WARNING:
Ensure nozzle is securely attached to mister top before
each use. A loose or improperly attached nozzle could
be ejected, resulting in an eye injury or other serious
personal injury.
BATTERY PACK REMOVAL AND PREPARATION
FOR RECYCLING
See Figures 4 - 6.
 Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws
in the back of the mister top.
 Separate and remove the back and front portion of the
mister top.
 Remove the three screws securing the motor assembly
and battery.
 Lift and remove motor assembly and battery from the
mister top.
NOTE: Be careful not to break battery leads when
disconnecting them.
WARNING:
Upon removal, cover the battery pack's terminals with
heavy-duty adhesive tape. Do not attempt to destroy or
disassemble battery pack or remove any of its compo-
nents. Batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly.
Also, never touch both terminals with metal objects and/
or body parts as short circuit may result. Keep away from
children. Failure to comply with these warnings could
result in fire and/or serious injury.
