Adjustment
i A check is to be performed on the machine after assem-
bling the components. Adjustments may be necessary.
Adjustments can be made to the machine at the following
locations:

4) Rear bolts of horizontal sliding arm
5) Front bolts of horizontal sliding arm
6) Tool column

Base of tilting column
Check whether the locking pin (A) holds the tilting col-
umn properly in working position. If not, adjust the nuts
at the base of the tilting column such that the column is
held firm.
To move the tilting column to the correct position, adjust
the end stop pin (B) in the base of the tilting column as
follows:
1. Tilt the column until the base is exposed.
2. Adjust the end stop pins (B) with a screwdriver by way
of the slot (C).
3. Press the pedal to tilt the column. Check whether the
column moves properly and stands properly on the
base again.

If the tilting column is in upright position during op-
eration, horizontal movement (play) may occur and
affect the stability of the column inside the base.
To keep this movement under control, the pins and ad-
justing nuts (D) on both sides of the column must be
adjusted as follows:
1. Tilt the column until the base is accessible.
2. Adjust the pins and nuts (D).
3. Move the tilting column to working position. Check
whether the pins are close enough to the column
