Powering the Scale
The scale is powered via its built-in 6V battery. The scale is not to be continuously powered via
the battery charger. Follow the instructions below to charge the scale's battery.
1. Locate the battery charger port on the
underside of the scale base.
2. Insert the battery charger fully into the
port. To charge the scale's battery,
connect the battery charger for
approximately 10 hours with the scale
turned off. Once charged, continuous
use of the battery may last up to 100
hours (with backlight) or 200 hours
(without backlight).
Note: Do not continuously power the scale via the battery charger as it may shorten the life of
the battery.
