INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION
The data plate is attached to the rear panel (see drawing under "electrical connection" ) and contains all the information
necessary for the connection.
INSTALLATION
When positioning the appliance make sure that it is perfectly level. Small adjustments can be made by screwing or
unscrewing the adjustable small feet.
The main switch or the outlet must be in the vicinity of the appliance and easily accessible.
Place the appliance on a surface which is not slippery, at a distance of at least 3 cm from the wall.
It is recommended to place the appliance under an extraction hood in order to rapidly eliminate vapour.
If the appliance is placed near walls or partitions, kitchen furniture, decorative coverings, etc. it is recommended that
these be flameproof or coated with flameproof material. Above all, fire prevention regulations must be observed.
The installation, start-up and maintenance of this appliance must be carried out only by qualified personnel. All the
installation operations must be in accordance with the standards in force.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility for poor functioning due to incorrect installation or non-observance of the
regulations. Remove the protective plastic before the start-up.
Warning: International provisions require that during the connection of the appliance there be a device which allows
the bi-polar disconnecting of the appliance from the network, upstream from the appliance. This device must have a
contact opening of at least 3 mm.
PROVISIONS OF THE LAW, TECHNICAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
The installation must be carried out in accordance with the following standards:
-The accident prevention and electrical legislation in force.
- Fire department regulations
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The appliance is supplied without the connection cable.
If it has to be replaced proceed in the following manner:
- turn off the power.
- remove the side for mod. SA and the back panel for mod. SL.
- disconnect the cable from the arrival terminal board which is found in the rear part
- loosen the cable clip and extract the cable
- pass the new connection cable throught the cable clip, connect the wires in the corresponding terminal of the terminal
board and fix them
- lock the cable with the cable clip and reassemble the side or the back panel. The earth wire must be longer that the
others so in case the cable clip breaks, this disconnects after the tension cables
N.B. The connection cable must have the following characteristics: it must be at least of the H05 RN F type and
have a section suitable for the appliance power (see technical specification table)
