CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning: When cleaning do not wash the exterior of the appliance with direct or high pressure water jets.
At the end of each working day clean the appliance thoroughly. Daily cleaning ensures long duration and efficiency for
your appliance. Before beginning to clean turn off the appliance power. Steel parts are to be washed with hot water
and neutral detergent . Rinse well in order to eliminate all traces of the detergent. Dry with a dry cloth.
In the mod. SL-600, to clean the surface above the resistors, unscrew the resistor fixing brackets on the reflecting
surface and lower the resistors. After cleaning, put the resistors and the upper rack back into the original position.
Do not use abrasive or corrosive cleaners.
Cleaning the crystal (mod. SLC-600ET)
The crystal must be cleaned with degreasing liquids, acids containing vinegar and lemon, suitable for cleaning ceramic
and crystal. It is advisable to carry out this operation when the crystal is not completely cold, so that spilled food,
burned grease, etc. can be softened using a damp cloth and removed whilst still warm with an ordinary scraper, in order
to avoid damaging the crystal surface.
Do not use abrasive or corrosive detergents.
PREPARATION IN CASE OF A PROLONGED PERIODOF DISCONTINUED USE
Thoroughly clean and dry the appliance following the instructions. Turn off the power.
INSTRUCTIONS IN CASE OF BREAKDOWNS
If a breakdown develops turn off the appliance, turn off the power by means of the device placed upstream and call the
technical assistance service.
MAINTENANCE (FOR QUALIFIED PERSONNEL ONLY)
Any maintenance operations are to be carried out exclusively by qualified personnel.
Before beginning any
maintenance, take out the plug or disconnect the switch placed upstream.
ACCESSIBILITY
MOD.: SA-400 , SA-600
To gain access to the terminal board, remove the back panel. To reach the components remove the frontal control panel.
MOD.: SL-600 , SLC-600
To gain access to the terminal board and to the other components, remove the right side panel by loosening the fixing
screws.
