Operation
• After a mains failure, the remote control dimmer returns to
the status it was in prior to the failure (status memory).
• After switching off, each time the product is switched on
via a short press on the controls the last lighting level is
restored (level memory).
In remote control dimmer mode
Set the min. lighting level using the adjustment button on
the product.
- Via local control on the product, pushbuttons or peripheral
devices.
Short press = on / off
Long press = minimum lighting level then increasing / decreasing
dimming (direction of dimming reversed on each long press).
- Control via double pushbuttons.
Key : Short press = maximum lighting level:

Long press = increases dimming
Key : Short press = off
–
Long press = decreases dimming

First use

When the installation is switched on, the remote control dim-
mer behaves as follows when it is first controlled locally:
- In remote control dimmer mode
Short press = on
Long press = minimum lighting level (varies according to
the position of the adjustment button), then dimming.

In dimmer mode
Set the lighting to the required level using the adjustment
button on the product.
- Via local control on the product, pushbuttons or peripheral
devices.
Short or long press = required lighting level / off
- Control via double pushbuttons
Key : Short or long press = required lighting level

In slave mode
The controls are inoperative, control is via the master
remote control dimmer.
- In dimmer mode
Short or long press = required level of lighting, determined
using the adjustment button.
- In slave mode
The remote control dimmer controls are inoperative.

- Regardless of whether the
device is used in "dimmer"
or "remote control dimmer"
mode, general control via
double pushbutton of seve-
ral remote control dimmers in
parallel supplied by one phase
or several distinct phases can
be used to switch an unlimited
number of circuits on or off
simultaneously.
- Switch on reverts to the level
of lighting which preceded the
last general switch off.
