2. Operating instructions
2.1
Starting instructions
The Q-Tool is equipped as standard with the M6 mandrel and anvil. Check if the mandrel (1)
and anvil (2), which are installed on the tool, match the blind rivet nut that you are going to use.
- If the incorrect mandrel and anvil are installed, change them by following the next steps:
1. Make sure the battery is not attached to the tool. (by pressing the mandrel on an activated
tool, the tool will start to spin the mandrel, which in turn spins into a blind rivet nut. These moving
parts can be dangerous).
2. Unscrew the anvil, lock nut (3), and the front sleeve.
3. Push the quick-release sleeve (5) backwards, and then unscrew the current mandrel.
4. Now screw in the correct size of mandrel and follow the above steps in the opposite direction.
1
After screwing in the correct mandrel, the pin must be reset completely to the right!.
If the pin is stuck halfway, rotate the mandrel a bit.

Every time this is pressed, the stroke will increase by 0.1 mm. Once the stroke has been set,
the tool will stay in this position even when the battery is changed.
We advise you to use the following stroke setting as a starting point / guideline. From this
starting point, you can increase or decrease the stroke according to the needs of your
application. We advise you to start off with the stroke mentioned underneath, as a blind rivet
nut can get jammed when the stroke settings are too high.
