Laminator Operating Modes
The laminator can process all cold and hot laminating pouches in the thicknesses 75 μ, 80 μ and
125 μ.
Hot Laminating
When "hot laminating" mode is active, the laminating pouch is heated to a temperature of approx.
130 °C to 160 °C as it passes through the laminator rollers. This creates a permanent thermal
bonding of the laminated material and the laminating pouch. Hot lamination permanently pre-
vents the laminated material from coming into contact with water, oxygen and bacteria.
Cold Laminating
When "cold laminating" mode is active, the laminating pouch is heated to a temperature of approx.
25 °C. The laminating pouches are coated with a special adhesive. The sides of the laminating
pouches are pressed together during the laminating process.
A detachable bond is produced and the material can be removed if necessary without any dam-
age.
