Step 2:
Position the yard to t in your opening. Select the
walls you wish to mount the wall hinge to.
Note: When mounting the yard to the wall, do
not mount wall hinges into sheetrock or plaster.
Hardware is included for use in solid materials,
such as wood or metal.
To accommodate di erent sized openings, you can
add or remove panels up to a maximum of 6 panels.
Mounting the Brackets
Step 3:
Position both of the pre -assembled wall mounting
connectors/wall hinges, vertically so the wall hinge pins
are facing upwards on the wall, and the mounting
connector is as close to the oor as possible. Mark the
top of each wall hinge. See Figure 5.
Step 4:
Separate the mounting connectors from the wall
hinges by pressing inward on the locking boss
located in the center of the wall hinge. Lift up on the
connectors to free them from the wall hinge. See
Removal from wall hinge gure below.
Step 5:
To attach the wall hinge to the wall, align the top with
the mark drawn in Step 3. Mark the top hole and
pre-drill a 1/8" pilot hole. Attach the top of the wall
hinge in place with a screw. Proceed down the hinge
and install a screw into each screw hole with screws
provided.
Step 6:
Attach the mounting connector side A to panel 1 by
setting opening A over Pin B, push down in order to
slide in pin C into the slot in cylinder D. See Figure 6.
Step 7:
Attach the mounting connector side B to panel 2 by
following the Step 5 instructions. When connecting
an odd number of panels, ip mounting connector
side B so that panel 2 ts into place.
Step 8:
Attach the mounting connectors that are now
attached to the panels to the wall hinges by aligning
the horse-shoe shaped hoops on one side of the yard,
over the pins on the wall hinges and set the yard panel
in place. See Figure 7.
Note: Always lift up on the end panels to ensure that
the yard is properly secured and locked in place.
Removal from Wall Hinge
To remove the yard from the wall hinge, press in on
the locking boss located on the center of the wall
hinge (See Figure 8), and lift up on the panel itself
until the yard rib clears the locking boss.
