INSTALLATION
To prevent electrical shock, all power must be turned off
before and during installation and maintenance.
IMPORTANT
All units must be installed on a flat vertical surface with the striker
positioned at the bottom. Bell is factory set for the loudest sound
output indicated by a mark on the gong at the striker position.
The body cover assembly permits locating the conduit hub at the
top, bottom or either side. Body cover "top" is marked to indicate
correct position for mounting assembly.
1.
Remove gong then mount assembly in desired location
using two bolts or screws through the two 11/32" diameter
mounting holes.
2.
For AC voltage units:
A.
Remove the four hex head screws that secure the
body cover assembly to the housing.
Hammers or prying tools must not be allowed to damage the
flat ground-joint surfaces. Do not handle covers roughly, or
place them on surfaces that might damage or scratch the flat
ground-joint surfaces.
