• The shaver should be kept away from any
dampness.
• Never try to remove foreign items from
inside the shaver using a sharp object.
• Always switch the shaver off before
cleaning the shaving head.
• Do not touch the shaving head while the
device is in operation.
• Do not use the shaver if the trimming
attachment or shaving head is damaged or
broken.
• The device is designed to be used in a
room temperature of between 0°C and 40°C.
• Avoid exposure of your device and its
accessories to direct sunlight.
• Never allow a child to handle your
electrical device.
• I f you encounter difficulties or problems
while using your device, it should be swit-
ched off. Return the shaver to your retailer's
after-sales service department.
• Do not use any accessory other than that
provided with your device.
• If your skin is sensitive to cosmetic pro-
ducts, if it gets irritated easily from shaving,
or in the event of skin allergies, we advise
you to first test the shaver on a small patch
of skin.
Before using your shaver
• The area to be shaved must be clean and
dry. Avoid applying creams before using your
shaver.
• Ensure that the shaver's trimming attach-

ment is set to the desired position. When
using for the first time, it is advisable to start
on the highest position setting, to avoid
cutting the hair too short at first.
• Clean the blades regularly (see
«Cleaning» section).
• Never use the shaver with a damaged or
broken blade.

Insertion of batteries

The shaver works with two LR03 «AAA»
1.5V alkaline batteries (not included).
• Before inserting the batteries, ensure that
the shaver is switched off (on O).
• Open the battery cover at the back of
your shaver using the latch at the bottom of
the cover. Lift the cover to reach the battery
compartment.
• Insert the batteries according to the +/-
polarity (diagram at the bottom of the battery
compartment).
• Replace the battery cover by first inserting
the top of the cover and then by lowering it
until the latch clicks into place.
Turn it on using the on/off button on the
front of the shaver.
Using the trimming attachment
• The device must be switched off.
• The trimming attachment offers 5
cutting levels.
• It is moveable, allowing you to change
the cutting length by adjusting the dial at
the back of the shaver. This shaver offers
