The feeder is intended for placing outside on grasslands, and for use by

grazing livestock. The durability is not guaranteed if placed on concrete
or slotted floors.
Place the MineralRocker on flat ground, for instance near the watering
☐
place. It is possible to tie the mineral feeder with a rope or alike by the
bottom of the centre bolt if you anyway need to place it at sloping ter-
rain or otherwise wish to fix it to avoid it slides away.
Move the mineral feeder 10-15 metres now and then to avoid the ani-

mals' damage of the grass sward around the feeder.
It is frost resistant and can overwinter outside provided it is placed at
☐
a dry spot and that any water that might be locked in the bottom is
poured out through the three holes there.
The mineral feeder should only be used for mineral supplements and
☐
alike that according the producer is suited for free-choice supplementa-
tion.
Fill-in fresh supplements at least weekly, and limit the amount to ensure
☐
the feeder always is empty before fresh supplements are added. This will
ensure the freshness of the supplements and an envisaged intake. Never
fill the feeder with more than 50 kg, and be aware that the self-raising
function is better the less it is filled.
The MineralRocker is best suited for livestock without horn, de-horned

cattle or genetically polled cattle. Cattle with small horns, for instance of
Jersey breed, have no problems using the feeder. The durability of the
feeder is not guaranteed in case it is used for heavy beef breeds or alike
animals with horns or horn residues.
If a loop / u-bolt is mounted on the top of the feeder to ease relocation

of it, please be aware that lifting it in the u-bolt is done at your own risk
with respect to the durability of the feeder. Do only relocate it in this way
when it is empty, and only over a short distance and on an even road.
