Latch Adjustment

Latch is preset to 2 3/8" (60 mm)
backset distance. For 2 3/4" (70 mm)
backset, (1) press button up with the
right thumb (see drawing) and while
holding the button depressed with
(1)
thumb. (2) pull latch housing to the
left to extend to the 2 3/4" position.
Latch Installation

Insert latch through the hole in door
edge and screw in place using two of
the 3/4" Phillips head screws. There is
a cam and rectangular slide on the
back part of the latch, and this is the top
of the latch. It should be up. Do not
install with this pointing down.
Exterior Assembly

Insert cylinder assembly through the
deadbolt rosette. Position cylinder
rosette assembly over exterior hole of
door with "Yale" up. Insert cylinder
assembly with tailpiece in horizontal
position through the latch.
If assembly does not fit snugly into bore,
reverse adapter ring as shown in
"Adapter Ring Reversal" in the reverse
of this instructive.
Interior Assembly

(Cylinder or Thumbturn)
Align interior thumbturn against interior
side of door and over the tailpiece with
thumbturn in vertical position. Insert
attachment screws through the two
holes in plate and latch and tighten into
exterior of deadbolt.If assembly does not
fit snugly into bore, reverse adapter ring
as shown in "adapter Ring Reversal" in
the reverse of this instructive.
ATTENTION: (Read this step if you

have gotten a (1) One Way or (2)
One Side).
Interior Assembly One Way
(Thumbturn)
Insert the plastic support's guides in the
holes of latch, insert the thumbturn in
place with the stem in the central hole
and to fix using two of the 3/4" Phillips
head screws.
One Side (Thumbturn)
Interior
Insert interior assembly into bore, passing
stem through slot in latch. Hold the flat
escutcheon outside in position. Insert and
tighten screws.

Ajuste del picaporte
El picaporte está ajustado a una distancia
de 2 3/8" (60 mm). Para una distancia de 2
3/4" (70 mm), (1) Presione el botón inferior
con el pulgar derecho hacia arriba (ver
dibujo) y, manteniendo
presionando hacia arriba, (2) jale en
dirección opuesta al frente del picaporte
hacia la posición de 2 3/4".
Instalación del Picaporte
Inserte el picaporte a través del orificio en el
costado de la puerta y atorníllelo en su lugar
usando dos tornillos, con cabeza en cruz de
3/4" de largo. Hay una leva y una corredera
rectangular en la parte trasera del picaporte,
y ésta es la parte superior del picaporte, la
cual debe estar hacia arriba. No instale el
picaporte con esta parte hacia abajo. Cuide
no instalar con la cabeza extendida.
Ensamble exterior
Inserte el ensamble del cilindro a través del
escudo del cerrojo. Posicione el ensamble
del cilindro con la leyenda "Yale" hacia
arriba, tal como se muestra en el esquema.
Inserte el ensamble del cilindro con la
regleta en posición horizontal a través del
picaporte.
Si el ensamble no ajusta correctamente en
la perforación, voltear el anillo adaptador
como se indica a la vuelta de este
instructivo en el apartado de "Anillo
Adaptador".
Ensamble Interior
(Cilindro o Muletilla)
Alinie la muletilla interior en posición
vertical, cuide que la regleta del cerrojo
entre en la cavidad de la misma, inserte los
dos tornillos a través de los barrenos del
ensamble interior y apriete. Si el ensamble
no ajusta correctamente en la perforación,
voltear el anillo adaptador como se indica a
la vuelta de este instructivo en el apartado
de "Anillo Adaptador".
NOTA: (Ver este paso en caso de que
usted haya adquirido un cerrojo "One
Way" o un cerrojo "Single Pass").
Ensamble Interior
(Muletilla - Cerrojo One Way)
Introduzca las guías del soporte plástico en
los barrenos del picaporte, acomode la
muletilla insertando la regleta en el orificio
central para fijar con 2 tornillos con cabeza
de cruz de 3/4" de largo.
(Muletilla - Cerrojo One Side
Inserte ensamble interior en la perforación,
pasando la regleta por la rendija en el
picaporte sostenga el escudo ciego por el
exterior y apriete los tornillos.

vers le haut. L'installation ne doit

Ensemble Extérieur
Tenez l'ensemble en orientant le mot
"Yale" vers le haut. Tournez l'axe
confornément
Instroduisez l'ensemble dans le trou.
Faites passer l'axe dans la fente du
pêne. Maintenez l'ensemble en place.
Installez et serrez les vis. Si l'ensemble
en place. Installez et serrez les vis. Si
l'ensemble n'entre pas bien dans le
trou, inversez l'anneau adaptateur
conformément
ci-dessous intitulée

Ensemble Intérieur
(Barillet ou Clenche)
Engager l ensemble dans le trou et sur
l'axe. ("Yale " vers le haut). Enfoncer et
serrer les vis.
Si l'ensemble n'est pas bien ajuste
dans le
adaptateur comme indiqué cibas dans
Inversion de l'Anneau Adaptateur".
ATTENTION: (Si vous avez un verrou
de sûrete unidirectionnel, lisez cette
étape).
Ensamble Interior
(Bouton Intérieur)
Insérez les dispositifs de guidage du
support en plastique dans le trous du
pêne, insérez le bouton intérieur en
place avec l'axe dans le trou centraol,
puis fixez le tout avec deux vis à tête
Phillips de 3/4 po.
Un côté (clenche)
Insérez l'ensemble intérieur dans le
trou, en faisant passer l'axe par la
fente du pêne. Maintenez la rosette
extérieure à plat en position. Insérez
et serrez les vis.
Les nombres indiqués
3/8" (60 mm). Pour
le bouton, (2) puis
