INSTALLATION
2.a
PUMP MODULE
The power supply must come from a different network than the air conditioner supply.
Disconnect the power supply before installation.
The alarm.
There is a change-over contact with a switching power of 5 A max (resistive load 250VAC), and a
switching power of minimum 10mA under 5VDC. Use the alarm to signal (light or buzzer signal) of
any overflow risk (NO contact), and to stop further condensate water being produced (NC contact).
Use the supplied 3-core cable as follows:
Black=normally closed = NC White= common = C Purple = normally open = NO

Installation of the pump module.

2 is easy to use in all air conditioners (ceiling, wall or floor-
(34 kBtu, 2.8 tons)
or less.
Use only the supplied 3 core cable:
Blue / Neutral
Brown / Line
Yellow+green / Earth
The pump module may be installed in the air conditioner, in a chute (see diagram, opposite) or in the
false ceiling. Double-sided adhesive foam is provided for that purpose. A space must be left around
the pump module for it to cool in the event of prolonged operation. The pump module should not be
covered (no insulation, no expanding foam, etc.). The discharge tube (not supplied) must be 6 x 9
mm in diameter to be fixed to the 4 x 6.4 mm reducer (already installed). Use a hose clamp (not
supplied) to securely fasten the discharge hose to the pump. Make sure to observe the flow direction
indicated by the arrow on the pump module.

DETECTION MODULE.
The detection module is supplied with VERY LOW VOLTAGE from the pump module. It is imperative
to use the supplied 4-core cable.
The flexible elbow (supplied) allows connection of the detection module to the air conditioner tray for
the mini FLOWATCH® 2. Suction is via the 1.85-meter flexible hose having an interior diameter of
5mm (supplied). Use the two hose clamps (provided) to securely fasten the flexible hose to the
detection and pump modules. Connect the vent hose (supplied), which has an inner diameter of 4mm

and a length of 150mm.
Installation of the detection module.
For the mini FLOWATCH ® 2, the detection module must be installed and fastened in a horizontal
position with the fixing rail (supplied) if possible. Choose the most appropriate outlet for the
application and close with the black cap the outlet which is not used.
 Before plugging the connectors, check they are clean, dry and not live
 Plug all connectors, paying attention to foolproofing aids and perfect fit
The outlet discharge tube of the pump module must always be higher than the detection
module. In other case, it is necessary to connect the outlet discharge tube to another tube of a
higher diameter in order to prevent siphoning. Detailed information is available from your nearest
wholesaler.
OPERATION
Check that the maximum water level in the condensate tray is higher than the alarm level in the
detection unit, to prevent the condensate tray overflowing before the alarm activates.
Before finishing the installation, it is recommended testing the correct operation of the condensate
removal pump.
Never try to run the pump "dry" without water (pump destructive)
 Rinse thoroughly the condensate water tray in order to eliminate all metallic particles and
foreign bodies.
 Position the detection unit in order to collect the condensate from the air conditioner
 Pour water into the condensate tray of the air conditioner
 Check the pump starts, pumps water, then stops
 Test the alarm by pouring water continually, until the float operates the alarm.

MAINTENANCE.
Any maintenance on the condensate pump MUST BE DONE WITH THE POWER SUPPLIED
SWITCHED OFF.
At the beginning of the season, or regularly if the air conditioner is used all year long:
Remove the cap of the detection unit, the filter and the magnet. Clean inside the detection unit and
the float with water containing 5% bleach. Rinse thoroughly after use of a cleaning product.
Check the good position of the rubber seal in the housing of the cover.
Then replace the float with the magnet facing up, and the filter. Replace the cap and do a full
operational test.

SAFETY
 All the product is IP64 (NF EN 60529 standards)
 SICCOM strongly recommend connecting the high-level alarm cable to a light or audible alarm.
 A thermal cut-out set at 70°C with AUTO-RESET
 Connect the earth wire of the pump
Warranty
Your pump is guaranteed to be in perfect working order at delivery. Pumps produced by SICCOM
SAS are guaranteed for two years (24 months) from the SICCOM SAS billing date against all
operating faults. In the case of detection of a fault, customers not located in France must return the
pump postage paid to the nearest SICCOM distributor. All products returned will be subject to a
complete analysis of origin and operation in relation to its traceability code and the technical
performances ascertained. If it is determined that the fault is unrelated to incorrect use of the pump
and that the installation instructions have been complied with, the product will be repaired or
replaced.
RESTRICTIONS:
Any implicit guarantee will be limited to the duration of the express guarantee specified above.
In all cases, the responsibility related to the SICCOM SAS warranty is limited to the
replacement or repair of the product supplied plus the cost of its transport to the original
delivery location.

Before using the product, the user must determine whether it is compatible with his or her
intended use of the product. They will be responsible for all risks and legal implications
resulting from its use or installation.
