After fastening the pole to the ground connect two holding ropes in the end holes of the upper
plate by means of two snaplinks.
These ropes must be fastened to suitable anchor devices (natural or artificial), which must be
placed so as to form a 60° angle approx. (picture 13).

If two ropes should not guarantee a correct stretching and fastening connect to the pole upper
end more ropes so as to brace it firmly.
NOTE:
The stretching of the pole must be carried out by expert and experienced persons.
After anchoring the ropes have the pole cantilever as much as required. Now the pole is fastened
but it is better to load it to subject the ropes to tension and find the right position.
To stretch the pole we suggest to use the Poldo tackle. This knot (of nautical origin) is very useful
because it allows to easily make the ropes longer or shorter even when they are on load
(pictures 14/15).
