HEAT RECOVERY UNIT AKOR : APPLICATION
Your heat recovery unit aims to improve the comfort and hygiene level in your home, with exhaust valves located in
wet rooms : kitchen, bathrooms, toilets, etc... Fresh air is introduced mechanically through the AKOR in the main
rooms such as living room and bedrooms...
A heat exchanger located in the AKOR unit collect the heating air coming from the extract air, allowing the pre-heating
of the fresh air supply in the dwelling. This system allows important energy saving and to insure a thermal and
acoustical comfort.
The extract ventilator has with two operating speeds:

speed: Allows a reduced airflow.

speed: Extracts the contaminated air flow from the kitchen during cooking (fumes, smells, steams etc...)

A switch usually placed in kitchen controls these 2 speeds. The supply and the extract ventilators could be controlled
separately.

Your heat recovery unit is composed of :
Air extract fan
Air supply fan
Inlet fresh air with Ø 150mm connection flange and
fitted with a filter
Air exhaust plenum fitted with 1x Ø125mm and 4 x Ø
80mm connection flanges and equipped with a filter
Cabinet composed from a removable cover
Plate cross flow heat exchanger (inside the cabinet)
Thermal insulation (not presenting)
