• Never leave your child unattended in the car.
• Any alteration or addition made to the device without the proper au-
thorisation, may seriously alter the restraint system.
• Failure to follow the instructions carefully to ensure the correct usage of
the restraint system may be dangerous for the child.
• The safety device cannot be used without its cover, and the cover must
not be replaced with a different one, as this forms an integral part of the
safety features of the system.
• Failure to position the seat belts as shown in the instruction may be ex-
tremely counterproductive and dangerous.
• After an accident, the JET i-fix cannot be used. Although it may look
undamaged, if you were to have another accident, then the seat may not
be able to protect your child as well as it should.
RECOMMENDATIONS AND MAINTENANCE
• Keep this instruction book for future reference.
• Always keep it in the compartment under the booster base.
• Ensure that inside the car any luggage and other objects that may
be harmful in the event of an accident are properly secured or stored
away.
• The JET i-fix seat must be duly fastened with the seat belts, even when
not in use, as in the event of an accident it could become loose and hurt
the occupants of the car.
• Remember not to use the JET i-fix seat in cars fitted with front AIR BAGS,
unless they can be disconnected or deactivated, which you should check
with the manufacturer or car salesperson.
• Ensure that the JET i-fix seat is not caught between the folding seats or
the car doors.
• Do not expose the cover to sunlight for prolonged periods, and while
the seat is not in use cover it or store in the boot.
• Wash the plastic parts with warm, soapy water and then dry all the com-
ponents carefully.
