The end position controller type CPX−CMPX−C−1−H1 is in
tended exclusively for use in CPX terminals from Festo in
conjunction with suitable components. The maximum va
lues specified in the section Technical specifications"
must be observed here.

CMPX can be found in the System Manual for the CMPX

Basic information on the CPX terminal can be found in the
CPX system Manual P.BE−CPX−SYS−... .
Warning
S Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (otherwise this could lead to
functional damage).
S Use only power units which guarantee reliable
electrical isolation of the operating voltage as per
IEC/DIN EN 60204−1. Observe also the general
requirements for PELV power circuits as per
IEC/DIN EN 60204−1.
S Connect an earth conductor of sufficient cross−
sectional area to the connection on the CPX
terminal marked with the earth symbol.
S The CMPX contains electrostatically sensitive
components. Do not therefore touch any contacts.
Observe the handling specifications for electrostati
cally sensitive components.

Commission only a CPX terminal which has been fitted
and wired completely.
