manufacturer, an authorised specialist company or a similarly qualified

This device may only be used by children from the age of 8 and up and by
persons with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities or a lack of
experience and / or knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed
in the safe use of the device and have understood the resulting dangers.

Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by children unless they
are 8 years of age or older and are supervised.
•
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
•
The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is
operating.
•
Aluminium foil and plastic vessels cannot be placed on hot surfaces.
•
The glass-ceramic surfaces are not to be used for storage.
•
Take care when operating the appliance, as rings, watches and similar objects
worn by the user could get hot when in close proximity to the hob surface.
•
Only use cookware of the type and size recommended in this User Manual.

After use, switch the hob element off by means of its control. Do not rely on
the pan detector.
•
Do not spray the appliance with jets of water or liquids.
•
Any repairs shall be carried out only by qualified technicians, persons trained
or recommended by the manufacturer.

Care to be taken to ensure that the splash back and surrounding area are free
of metallic surfaces.
•
Appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system.
Note: When the pot is removed, the induction hotplate can stop heating
immediately. If the hotplate remains switched on after cooking has finished
the cooker switches off automatically in 2 hours. Under Flex Induction mode,
the buzzer sounds, and the hotplate switches off in 16 seconds (30 seconds for
other operating modes).
