Important Safety Information
• CAUTION - Before use:
1) Be sure base of jack is on firm and level ground.
2) Be sure the jack will not slip after load is applied.
3) Be sure lifting arm is fully under load.
4) Be sure load is stabilized before lifting so load does not shift when jack is in use.
5) Do not work under the vehicle after lifting unless jackstands are supporting the weight
of the vehicle.
6) Do not push load off jack; lower carefully.
7) Do not use handle extensions.
8) Do not carry jack by handle.
• Periodically check all components. The mechanisms need to be clean, lubricated and
maintained to function properly.
Operating Instructions
To RAISE Load:
• Follow all safety precautions. Place the foot of the jack
beneath the load. Lift the Reversing Latch (FIgure 1) to
it's UP position and ensure it is firmly in place with the
indentation in the latch.
• Raise the jack until it is in contact with the lifting point.
• Pause at this point to make sure there are no obstacles that would interfere with a clean
lift.
• Pull down firmly and evenly on the handle. The load will rise and you'll hear a "click" as
the climbing pin goes into place at the next hole in the steel bar.
• Carefully release pressure on the handle and let the jack support the load. CAUTION If the climbing pin is not seated into the steel bar,
the handle will have the weight of the load on it and could cause injury or damage. Keep a firm grip on the handle at all times.
• Raise the handle to the top of it's stroke and repeat until load it at desired height.
• Secure load with jackstands
