ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
ASSEMBLY MUST ONLY BE CARRIED OUT BY
ADULTS. TAKE CARE WHEN REMOVING THE
VEHICLE FROM ITS PACKAGING. ALL THE
SCREWS AND SMALL PARTS ARE CONTAINED IN
A BAG INSIDE THE PACKAGING.
ASSEMBLY
1 • Assemble the rear wheels. Fit the two
components shown in figure 1 to the axle then
slide the axle into the hole on the frame (A
wheel disc, B wheel, C axle).
2 • Fit the second wheel disc and wheel as shown in
the figure. Fit washer (A) to the end of the axle
sticking out from the wheel.
3 • Fit a split pin as shown in the figure.
4 • Fit the hub caps to the rear wheels by lining up
the tabs with the holes in the wheel as shown in
the figure.
5 • Fit the lower part of the steering hub cap to the
forks turning it as necessary until it sits astride
the upper part of the forks.
6 • Fit the forks to the frame making sure they are
facing the right direction. The steering hub and
frame must line up as shown in the figure.
7 • Slide the upper part of the steering hub cap on
to the handlebars.
8 • Fit the handlebars.
9 • Fix the handlebars in position with the nut and
bolt provided and use the special plastic spanner
to tighten up the nut.
10 • Fit both parts of the steering hub cover.
11 • Fit the steering hub cover in place using the two
screws provided.
12 • Fit the upper steering hub cap using the bolts
provided.
13 • Lower the footrest by pushing the plastic part
towards the rear of the tricycle. The footrest will
drop into position automatically.
14 • Fit the seat to the frame using the bolt and
washers as shown in the figure.
15 • Assemble the telescopic steering handle by
sliding the tube with the handle into the larger
diameter hollow tube as shown in the figure.
Press down on the spring-loaded button A to
allow passage into the hollow tube then adjust
until button A clicks into the first hole.
16 • Fit the cover to the steering handle as shown.
17 • Fit the steering handle to the tricycle frame as
shown (the handle should fold towards the rear)
18 • Click the upper and lower parts of the steering
handle cover into place.
19 • Fit the basket to the frame and turn the knob B
to lock it in position.
20 • Open the strap on the bell to slide it over the
handlebars. 10 • Fit the bell to the handlebars
using the bolt provided.
CHARACTERISTICS AND USE
OF THE TRICYCLE
21 • Each tricycle wheel is fitted with a rubber strip
that offers better grip and reduces wheel noise
especially if the tricycle is used indoors.
22 • FREE-WHEELING MECHANISM the front wheel
has a mechanism that allows parents to steer the
tricycle without the pedals moving. See figure 22:
• With the lever in position A, the child can ride
the tricycle by pedalling backwards or forwards
• With the lever in position B, the wheel turns but
the pedals do not move (in the event the child's
feet are on the pedals). This allows parents to
steer the tricycle without the child having to
pedal.
23 • A central footrest is provided for small children
whose feet do not reach the pedals. To raise or
lower the footrest, pull it upwards and turn. It
will then automatically drop into position.
24 • HANDLEBARS: the tricycle comes with a height-
adjustable steering handle for parents. To adjust
the height of the handle, press button A and slide
the handle up or down until you find the right
height.
• The steering handle can be removed. To remove
the handle, place it in a central position (the
handle must be pointing straight) then pull
upwards with some force.
25 • Turning the steering handle right or left will
make the handlebars turn in the same direction
and give parents full control of the tricycle.
26 • BASKET: when removed from the frame, the
basket has a handle making it easily carried.
• BELL: to ring the bell, push the lever down.
27 • 3-POINT SAFETY HARNESS. The safety harness
has two crotch straps and an adjustable waist
belt. To undo the belt, press the buttons on the
side of the buckle and pull the buckle apart.
