Notes on Safe Operation
Please observe the following notes carefully in order to avoid malfunctions and incorrect operation!
Keep all flammable or heat-sensitive materials away from the area around the nozzle (1).
The hot unit must be placed on the stand (6).
Never force the trigger (5).
Protect the unit against moisture and water.
Protection against electrical shock.
Follow the instructions on using hot melt adhesives.
To prevent thermal damage and squirting of the hot melt adhesive do not adjust the temperature above
the operating temperature of the hot melt adhesive!
If the unit is used with the nozzle facing upwards, always pay attention to the formation of glue droplets
in order to avoid burns to the operator or to work materials.
Before carrying out any work on the unit (maintenance, cleaning) always unplug it from the wall socket
outlet. After finishing your gluing task, unplug the unit from the wall outlet and allow it to cool down
before putting it away.
Always make sure the unit is plugged into a grounded wall outlet. When using an extension cord,
always inspect it for damage and make sure it is equipped with a ground wire.

Operating Instructions
Always observe the safety instructions cited in Chapter 2.
3.1
Startup
Plug the power cord (3) into a grounded outlet and press the ON/OFF switch (8) for at least one second.
The digital display (7) lights up and the left decimal point flashes until the set value is reached. The
digital display (7) shows the actual temperature of the gun, and the reset temperature when the SET
switch (9) is pressed.
If a glue stick has already been inserted, liquefied glue may emerge from the nozzle. Therefore, always
place the unit on an appropriate surface.
Allow the unit to heat up for between 6 and 8 minutes (depending on glue type).
Insert the hot melt glue stick into the opening on the back of the glue gun until the stick reaches the
black insulating sleeve (8).
3.2
Temperature Adjustment
3.2.1 Adjustment of Control Parameters in the First Operating Phase
To prevent thermal damage and squirting of the hot melt adhesive do not adjust the temperature above
the operating temperature of the holt melt adhesive!
The temperature has been pre-set at the factory to 180 °C.
Press the SET key (9).
Adjust the temperature on the digital display (7) with the UP key (11) or the DOWN key (10).
The set temperature remains the same even when the unit is switched off for a fairly long period.
Environmental factors (such as the effects of strong magnetic fields / transmitters) and fluctuations in
the power supply network may cause deviations of 1-2 °C.
