Setting the shutter speed on the camera
Set the shutter speed in accordance with the fi ring frequency and the number
of fi rings set on the fl ash as described below.
Shutter speed (sec.) ≥ Number of fi ring (TIME) ÷ Firing frequency (Hz)
Example:
When "10" is set for the number of fi ring (TIME) and "5" is set for the fi ring
frequency (Hz), set the shutter speed longer than the value (sec.) calculated
in the following formula.
10 ÷ 5 = 2

Adjusting the distribution of light
Adjusting the distribution of light
You can switch between the standard mode and the wide mode. The wide mode
is useful when you want to illuminate the surroundings more uniformly. When the
fi ring angle is 12 mm or less, the light distribution does not change.
1
Hold down the ZOOM button until "W" (wide)
appears on the control panel.
• To cancel the setting, hold down the ZOOM button
until "W" (wide) disappears from the control panel.
