Thermostat Code: 0769001, Reference: KT1-NP
A. Installation, Mounting:
CAUTION:
1. Turn off 0769001, electronic source and the electrical devices
(e.g. heater) which will be connected before installation and
maintenance.
2. The installer must be a trained service engineer
1. Installation Location:
The thermostat should be mounted on an inner wall 1.5m above
the floor in position where it is readily affected by changes of the
general room temperature with freely circulating air. Prevent
direct exposure to sunlight; dripping or splashing area. Do not
place this unit at a location where air circulation is low, or where
it has great temperature changes (e.g. near door). Do not place the
thermostat near heat generating sources (radiators, hot air vents,
TV or lights).
2. Electrical Interface:
3. Mounting:
1/. Remove Cover:
-
-
Place the switches in the lowest position (Off position)
-
Place the screwdriver at the bottom of the locks and loosen the
screws (@'1' and @'2')
-
Remove the top cover carefully forward (@'3') and then
upward (@'4') to loose the top lock
2/. Mounting without bottom plate (Diagram 1):
-
Ensure the surface is level
-
Place the cable at the hole near the terminal block
-
Place the 2pcs of wall anchors at the wall
-
Fasten the thermostat with the 2 pcs of long screws through the
2 mounting holes
3/. Mounting with bottom plate (Diagram 2):
-
Adjust the bottom plate on the wall or junction box and ensure
the plate is at surface level and cover the junction box
comfortably
-
If necessary, pull the cables out at the middle hole of the bottom
plate
-
Place the 2pcs of the wall anchors at the wall if necessary
-
Fasten the plate with the 2pcs of long screws
-
Place the cables at the hole near the terminal block
-
Fasten the thermostat with the 2pcs of screws through the 2
mounting holes
4/. Electrical Connection:
-
Be sure the thermostat slide switch is at the OFF position
-
Wire the proper cables at the terminal block according to the
circuit diagram attached inside the top cover
-
Afterward, push all cables back into the wall
-
Do not use metal conduit or cable provided with a metal sheath.
-
Recommend to add fuse or protective device in the live circuit
5/. Install the Cover:
-
Ensure the thermostat slide switch is at the bottom position (@'
5a')
-
Align the slide switch knob at the bottom position (@'5b')
-
Align the shaft of the rotary volume in horizontal direction
(@'6a')
-
Align the rotary knob with the pointer at the top (@'6b')
-
Replace the cover in direction (@'7') and ensure the top locks
are fastened
-
Press the cover in direction (@'8') and fasten with 2 screws
(@'9)&(@'10')
-
Check the slide switches and rotary knob can be moved
smoothly, otherwise reinstall the cover with the slide know and
rotary know realigned properly

Normal mode
When the Operation Mode Switch (DI input) is disable and the slide
switch is at Fan it will be at Normal Mode. Heating or Cooling Mode
will be ON automatically depending on the temperature and
temperature set point plus the dead band. (For details, please refer
to #10 Temperature Control). Three speeds Fan: HI/MED/LOW
can be selected manually by the position set at the slide switch.
The ON status will depend on the DIP Switch #3 position and
heating or cooling status.
Off mode
When the slide switch is placed at "●" Off mode is selected. The
Standby/Off LED is constantly ON and all outputs are OFF.
Standby mode
When the Operation Mode Switch (DI input) is enable, DIP switch
#1 is at ON and slide switch is at Fan, Standby mode will be selected.
The Standby/Off LED is constantly ON and all outputs are OFF,
unless the defrost function is activated.
Energy saving mode
When the Operation Mode Switch (DI input) is enable, DIP switch
#1 is at OFF and slide switch is at Fan, Energy Saving Mode will be
selected. The Rotary knob temperature setting will be disable, the
