WHEEL LUGS
Wheel lug nuts must be tightened with a torque wrench. Refer to the chart below for proper torque.
1. Start all bolts or nuts by hand to prevent cross threading.
2. Tighten bolts or nuts following sequence at right.
3. Tightening of the fasteners should be done in stages. Following the recommened sequence, tighten fasteners per
wheel torque chart below.
4. Wheel nuts/bolts shuld be torqued before first road use and after each wheel removal. Check and re-torque after
first 10 miles, 25 miles and again at 50 miles.. Check periodically thereafter.

CASTER OPERATION
This trailer is equipped with a tongue mounted caster for use when not coupled to the tow vehicle.
WARNING: THE CASTER MUST BE IN THE UP POSITION WHEN
ATTACHED TO THE TOW VEHICLE FOR SAFE AND PROPER
TOWING.
To place the caster in the up position remove the locking safety pin and
remove caster from trailer. Rotate caster bracket 90 degrees and install on
trailer. Install the safety pin and ensure lock wire is secure.
BRAKE OPERATION
This trailer is equipped with a caster mounted brake mechanism for use when
not coupled to the tow vehicle.
WARNING: TO AVOID INJURY, THE TRAILER BRAKE MUST BE APPLIED WHEN OPERATING THE UNIT
AND WHEN NOT IN USE.
To engage the caster brake simply push down on the brake lever using your foot. To release the caster brake pull up
on the brake lever until it is in the horizontal position.
ATTENTION: PLACING BRAKE LEVER ABOVE HORIZONTAL POSITION WILL NOT ALLOW THE CASTER
TO SWIVEL AND CAN CAUSE PAINT DAMAGE.
SWING-AWAY TONGUE OPERATION
This trailer is equipped with a swing-away tongue coupler kit for compact storage.
WARNING: HINGE PIN MUST BE INSTALLED AND SECURED IN
SWING-AWAY WHEN ATTACHED TO THE TOW VEHICLE FOR
SAFE AND PROPER TOWING.
To operate swing-away coupler remove cotter pin from hinge pin. Remove
hinge pin from coupler and swing tongue to side.
ATTENTION: INSTALL HINGE PIN IN STATIONARY SIDE OF SWING-
AWAY WHEN IN USE TO PREVENT LOSS OF DAMAGE.
