INSTALACIÓN DE LA BATERÍA
Su radio comunicador cuenta con una batería de Litio recargable de larga
duración.
1.- Retire la tapa protectora del compartimiento de batería, localizado en
la parte posterior del reloj (Fig. 1).
2.- Inserte la batería de Litio en el compartimiento, asegurándose de
colocarla con la polaridad correcta (Fig. 2).
3.- Coloque nuevamente la tapa del compartimiento y asegúrela.
CARGA DE LA BATERÍA
Nunca utilice el cargador si previamente no ha instalado la batería.
Una vez que ha instalado la batería conecte el cargador proporcionado
con su equipo a fin de realizar la carga inicial.
Realice la carga por 12 horas aproximadamente.
1.- Levante la cubierta de la entrada del cargador (Charge).
2.- Inserte la terminal del cargador en el equipo.
3.- Conecte el cargador a un tomacorriente casero.
4.- En pantalla aparece un icono de batería indicando el nivel de carga.
Desaparece cuando la batería está completamente cargada.
Notas:
Es recomendable cargar la batería cada 6 meses cuando no utiliza el
equipo frecuentemente.
NIVEL DE BATERÍA Y OPERACIÓN CON BATERÍA BAJA
En modo de reloj y comunicador el icono de batería baja no aparecerá en
la pantalla a menos que la unidad detecte que la batería esta baja.
Cuando se encuentre en modo de Radio y el nivel de batería esté bajo,
aparecerá en pantalla el icono de batería baja parpadeando por 15
segundos y cambiará automáticamente a modo de Reloj. Recargue la
batería en ese momento.
Así mismo, su radio comunicador cuenta con un sistema de ahorro de
energía, el cual funciona cuando no registra transmisión alguna en un
lapso de 5 segundos, automáticamente cambiando al modo de ahorro de
energía. Su equipo puede continuar recibiendo señales en este modo.
AJUSTES INICIALES
Cuando instale la batería por primera vez, el equipo se encenderá
automáticamente en el modo de Radio comunicador.
Para cambiar a modo de Reloj, mantenga presionado el botón de
Encendido (Power) por 3 segundos, de esta forma entrará al modo de
Reloj.
Si desea volver al modo de comunicador, mantenga presionado el botón
de Encendido (Power) por 3 segundos.
Ajuste de la hora actual
1.- En modo de Radio comunicador presione 3 veces el botón de
Encendido (Power), la hora comenzará a parpadear.
2.- Utilice los botones de Arriba / Abajo para ajustar la hora. Presione el
botón de Encendido (Power) una vez más, los minutos comenzarán a
parpadear.
3.- Utilice los botones de Arriba / Abajo para ajustar los minutos. Presione
el botón de Encendido (Power) para guardar los cambios.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
Your new walkie talkie counts with a rechargeable long life Lithium
battery.
1.- Release the cover protector from the battery compartment, located on
the back of the watch (Fig. 1).
2.- Place the Lithium battery on the compartment, paying attention to
polarity (Fig. 2).
3.- Replace the cover protector and fasten it.
BATTERY CHARGING
Do not use the charger before inserting battery.
Once you have installed the battery plug the supplied AC charger adaptor
to start the battery charging.
Charge the battery for approximately 12 hours.
1.- Lift the charger jack cover located on the side of the equipment.
2.- Plug the AC charger adaptor into the equipment.
3.- Connect the AC charger adaptor into an AC household outlet.
4.- On screen appears a battery icon indicating the battery level. It
disappears when the battery is totally charged.
Notes:
It is strongly recommended that you recharge the battery every 6 months
when the unit is not frequently used.
BATTERY LEVEL AND LOW BATTERY OPERATION
In Watch and Communicator mode the Low Battery Level icon won't
appear on the display unless the unit detects that the battery is low.
When the unit is in Communicator mode and the battery is low, the icon
will appears blinking for around 15 seconds and then automatically
changes to Watch mode. Recharge the battery immediately.
Your communicator has a unique circuit designed to extend battery life. If it
senses no transmission within 5 seconds, the unit automatically switches
to power save mode. The communicator can still receive transmission
signals in this mode.
INITIAL SETTINGS
The communicator will automatically go to Communicator Mode once the
battery is installed.
To switch to Watch mode, press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds,
a short key beep tone indicates the change.
If you want to back to Communicator Mode, press and hold the Power
button for another 3 seconds.
Setting current time
1.- In Communicator Mode, press Power button thrice, the hour starts to
blink on the screen.
2.- Use Up / Down buttons to set the hour. Press Power once again, then
the minutes starts to blink.
3.- Use Up / Down buttons to set the minutes. Press Power to store the
changes.
