TIPS FOR CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
This product requires periodical maintenance. Cleaning and mainte-
nance operations must be performed exclusively by an adult.
Do not submerge the carrycot in water. Do not leave the product ex-
posed to the sun for a long period of time; the fabrics may discolour.
Do not use solvents or abrasive products for cleaning.
CLEANING
Periodically wipe the plastic parts clean with a soft damp cloth. To
prevent the formation of rust, always dry metal parts if they have
come into contact with water.
WASHING
The cover of the carrycot, its sun-blind and hood are not detachable:
clean the fabric parts using a wet sponge and neutral soap.
The cover of the mattress is detachable and washable: gently remove
the cover and strictly follow the washing instructions on the label at-
tached at the top.

FIRST ASSEMBLY OF THE CARRYCOT
1. Place the carrycot on a flat surface and, on the long side, insert the
plastic part in the appropriate side pocket and close the zipper
(Fig.1-1A). Repeat this operation on the other side as well.
2. Insert the two smaller plastic parts into the two pockets at the ends
of the carrycot. Insert the plastic component laterally in the head
area and close the zipper (Fig. 2–2A); on the opposite side, corre-
sponding to the child's feet area, insert the plastic component from
below (Fig. 2B-2C), and close the zipper.
3. Place the mattress on the base of the carrycot (Fig. 3).
WARNING: The higher side of the mattress must always be posi-
tioned where the child's head is.
4. Using the all-round zipper, attach the sun -blind to the carrycot
(Fig. 4).
5. Fasten the hood to the all-round zipper according to the indica-
tions in figure 5; then attach the fabric flap of the hood to the velcro
fasteners on the edge of the carrycot (Fig. 5A). Complete the opera-
tion by hooking the snap buttons on the sides of the hood (Fig. 5B).
USING THE CARRYCOT AS A PRAM
This carrycot can be used as pram version mounted on the following
CHICCO strollers: MIINIMO, MIINIMO2, MIINIMO3, GOODY.

To attach the carrycot the stroller, first remove the bumper bar, then
close the hood and completely lower the backrest, and place the leg-
rest horizontally, as shown in the stroller instructions.
6. Turn the rod under the carrycot base until it is completely open (Fig.
6-6A); hold the textile handles in the transport position and place
the carrycot on the stroller with the foot area facing the handle of
the stroller (Fig. 6B).
7. Fasten the carrycot to the stroller's frame using the appropriate
belts. The carrycot has two belts with a buckle on each side. Wrap
the belts around the stroller bar in the positions shown in figure 7,
fasten the buckles (Fig. 7A), pull the belts to ensure a secure attach-
ment (Fig. 7B) and close the second safety lock (Fig. 7C). Repeat the
operations on the opposite side as well.

- GOODY
To attach the carrycot the stroller, first remove the bumper bar, then
close the hood and completely lower the backrest, and place the leg-
rest horizontally, as shown in the stroller instructions.
8. Turn the rod under the carrycot base until it is completely open (Fig.
8-8A); hold the textile handles in the transport position and place
the carrycot on the stroller with the foot area facing the handle of
the stroller (Fig. 8B).
9. Fasten the carrycot to the stroller's frame using the appropriate
belts. The carrycot has two belts with a buckle on each side. Wrap
the belts around the stroller bar in the positions shown in figure 9,
fasten the buckles (Fig. 9A), pull the belts to ensure a secure attach-
ment (Fig. 9B) and close the second safety lock (Fig. 9C). Repeat the
operations on the opposite side as well.
WARNING: Before use, make sure that the carrycot is properly at-
tached by pulling it upwards.
To remove the carrycot from the stroller, release the buckles and re-
move it from the seat.
WARNING: The fastening and releasing operations can be carried
out also with your child inside the carrycot; however, these opera-
tions may be more difficult to execute due to the child's weight. Pay
attention when carrying out the aforementioned operations.
WARNING: Before placing the carrycot on a stable and flat surface,
the rod under the base of the carrycot must be turned up to the hori-
zontal position (Fig. 10-10A). Never place the carrycot with the metal
rod lifted.
CLOSING THE CARRYCOT
It is possible to reduce the dimensions of the carrycot when it is not
being used. Remove the plastic inserts inside the carrycot perform-
ing, in reverse order, the operations described in the chapter "FIRST
ASSEMBLY OF THE CARRYCOT".
WARNING: These operations must be carried out without the child
in the carrycot or other children in the vicinity.
WARRANTY
The product is guaranteed against any conformity defect in normal
conditions of use as stated in the instructions. Therefore, the warranty
does not apply in the case of damage caused by improper use, wear
or accidental events. For the duration of the warranty on conformity
defects, please refer to the specific provisions of national laws appli-
cable in the country of purchase.
