Problems
Possible cause(s)
Loose screw.
Air leaking in head cap.
Worn or damaged o-rings or seals.
Lack of power.
Tool is too dry.
Slow to cycle.
Air pressure too low.
Exhaust blocked.
Not shooting fasteners.
Damaged pusher spring.
Wrong size of fasteners.
Fasteners are jammed
Drive channel is worn.

Corrective action

Tighten screws.
Install overhaul kit.
Add about 2-3 drops of lubrication
into the air connector.
Make sure the air compressor is set
between 70 psi and 115 psi.
Clean exhaust channel

Replace spring.
Use 18 gauge L cleat nails.
Fix the drive channel.
Replace the piston.
Remove the bent fasteners
Clean magazine.
Tighten screws.
Verify that fasteners are the correct
size.
