ATTENTION
Read these operating instructions carefully and observe all safety instructions before using the
product.
INTENDED USE
The tools included in this set are used for bending and flaring brake pipes according to DIN ISO F.
The included ratchet brake pipe cutter (7) is self-adjusted and can be used to cut brake pipes. The
ratchet function on pipe cutter makes particularly well-suited for easy operation in the smallest space,
a turning of the complete tool around the brake pipe is not required. The included tools are suitable for
4.75 mm (3/16") brake pipes, made of copper, aluminum and steel.
SAFETY INFORMATION
• Always read the instructions carefully before using the tool.
• The repair of brake systems is best taken care of by professionals. Should you encounter any
difficulties or problems, consult a qualified technician.
• Follow the manufacturer's specifications. This manual is supposed to inform you about the tool
itself and does not replace specific servicing handbooks.
• Make sure that all brake pipes and their connections are free of leakage.
• Only use brake fluid from new and originally sealed containers to bleed the brake system and to
top up the reservoir.
• Never fully depress the brake pedal, otherwise the piston in the master cylinder will move
beyond the normal range of operation, this can damage rubber seals in the master cylinder!
• After the bleeding process and before start driving, check whether a good brake pressure is
present and the brake pressure does not decrease when the brake pedal is pressed.
• Ensure the working area has adequate lighting.
• Keep children and unauthorized persons away from the working area.
• Do not let children play with this tool or its packaging.
• Keep working area clean and tidy, dry and free from unrelated materials.
• Only use the tool set for the purpose for which it is designed.
• When using the product, be sure to wear the correct safety clothing and take protective
measures.
• The use of protective gloves, safety glasses and safety shoes is recommended.
• Check the condition of the tool regularly and replace damaged parts.
• Always keep the thread clean and well oiled. Careful maintenance guarantees the operational
readiness and longevity of the tool.
• Before use, familiarise yourself with the correct use of the tool to be used, taking into account
the necessary safety measures
