Note: Due to the rapid freezing process, it may happen that the ice cubes appear
slightly milky. The air trapped in the water can get into the ice cube. However, the
air does not affect the quality of the ice cube.
The appliance pauses automatically when the collector is full (the LED "ICE FULL"
lights up). The process continues if enough ice cubes are taken out or they melt.
The ice cube maker stops when there is no water in the water tank. The "ADD WA-
TER" LED lights up. You can stop the appliance manually by pressing the "ON/OFF"
button. The "ON/OFF" LED stops glowing.
7. Cleaning and Care
To retain the fresh taste, we recommend you to clean the ice cube maker once a
week if you are using it regularly.
•
Stop the ice making cycle by pressing the "ON/OFF" button. Then discon-
nect the plug from the socket and allow the appliance to return to room
temperature.
•
If water is still left in the freezer unit, press the ice tray back carefully so
that all the water flows back into the water tank.
•
To drain excess water, place the appliance with the front side on an edge
and place a bucket underneath, or place the appliance over the sink. Now
pull out the drain plug on the bottom of the appliance. Caution! Please
note: Once the plug is removed, water flows out of the water tank!
•
Remove the ice collector.
•
Clean the inside of the appliance using a soft cloth dipped in warm water
and vinegar. Then rinse it with clean water and allow it to dry completely.
•
Replace the drain plug in the correct position. Wash the ice collector in
warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry it afterwards.
