4.6.3.1
Setting the temperature range on the DIP-switch
Requirements
DANGER – Danger to life due to electric shock. Make sure that the unit is voltage-free.
•
Wait for the discharge phase of 5 minutes for the electrical components. The unit should only be opened afterwards.
Procedure
1.
Dismantle the fan by loosening the four fixing screws (1), see Fig. 14 (A).
2.
Disconnect all cables from the fan and remove the fan.
3.
Loosen and remove the upper screw (2) on the frame.
4.
Slightly loosen the lower screw (4) on the frame, but do not remove.
–
Loosening and adjusting the lower screw (4) enables easy access to the card cage.
5.
Carefully tilt the card cage (3) until the controller (5) becomes visible, see Fig. 14 (B).
6.
Set the DIP-switch (6) on the controller (5) according to "DIP-switch setting possibilities", see Fig. 14 (C).
–
The settings of the DIP-switch are taken over when commissioning.
The new temperature range is set on the DIP-switch.
